Ed Stetzer


Ed Stetzer
 ministers as executive director of the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism at Wheaton College. He also serves as interim teaching pastor for The Moody Church. He has two doctorates and has written more than a dozen books and hundreds of articles. He is a contributing editor for Christianity Today and executive editor of Facts and Trends magazineEd co-hosts BreakPoint This Week, a radio broadcast that airs on over 400 media outlets, including Moody Radio.

Joe Stowell is the president of Cornerstone University. He previously served as the senior pastor for three churches and a teaching pastor at Harvest Bible Chapel in Chicago. He was also the president of Moody Bible Institute for 18 years. Stowell has two honorary doctor of divinity degrees, and serves on the board at Wheaton College. He’s written numerous books, including The Trouble with Jesus, Following Christ, and Redefining Leadership. He and his wife, Martie, have three children and ten grandchildren.

 

Charlie Dates ministers as senior pastor at Progressive Baptist Church in Chicago. He earned his PhD in historical theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and researched the burden of African-American preaching in the late 20th century Chicago. Dates is an affiliate professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, an adjunct professor at Moody Bible Institute, and a member of the Community Advisory Board for the Chicago Fire Department. He also contributed to Letters to a Birmingham Jail (Moody Publishers). Dates and his wife, Kirstie, have two children.

 

Ray Pritchard works as president of Keep Believing Ministries, an internet-based community that equips and encourages people to keep believing in Jesus. Pritchard pastored churches for 26 years in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Chicago. He is a cohost of Today’s Issues on American Family Radio. Pritchard has authored more than 30 books, including An Anchor for the Soul (Moody Publishers), Stealth Attack (Moody Publishers), and The Healing Power of Forgiveness. He earned his ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a DMin from Talbot School of Theology. Ray and his wife, Marlene, have been married for more than 40 years. They have three sons and seven grandchildren.

 

Skye Jethani is an author, speaker, consultant and ordained pastor. He also serves as the cohost of The Phil Vischer Podcast. Jethani formerly occupied numerous roles at Christianity Today, including the senior editor and the director of mission advancement. He served for six years in pastoral ministry at Blanchard Alliance Church. He has consulted for the Lausanne Movement, the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, and theInterfaith Youth Core. Jethani has written several books, including Immeasurable (Moody Publishers), The Divine Commodity, and Futureville. He and his wife, Amanda, live in Wheaton, Illinois with their three children.

 

Matthew Kim is an associate professor of preaching and ministry at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Before joining the faculty, he served as a youth and college pastor in Massachusetts, and as a senior pastor in Colorado. He earned his MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his MTh and PhD from the University of Edinburgh. He is the author of several books, including Preaching with Cultural Intelligence and 7 Lessons for New Pastors. He is a featured preacher and author on PreachingToday.com. Kim and his wife, Sarah, have three children and live in Beverly, Massachusetts.

 

H. B. Charles Jr. is the pastor-teacher of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He is the first African-American president of the SBC Pastors’ Conference. He previously led the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles for almost 18 years. Outside of his ministry to and with his congregation, Charles regularly speaks at churches, conferences, and conventions around the country. He has written several books including On Pastoring (Moody Publishers) and On Preaching (Moody Publishers). Charles and his wife, Crystal, have three children.

 

Ron Moore has served as the senior pastor of The Bible Chapel, a multisite church in Pittsburgh, for more than 25 years. He is also the president and lead Bible teacher for Back to the Bible, and previously had a daily radio program called The Journey. Moore earned his ThM and DMin from Dallas Theological Seminary, and an MA in education from Texas A&M-Commerce. He has written several books, including Worn Out by Obedience (Moody Publishers), Journey through the Bible, and Journey through the Psalms. Ron and his wife, Lori, have four children and one grandchild.

 

Michael Ortiz serves full-time at Dallas Theological Seminary as the director of DTS en Español and associate professor in the world missions and intercultural studies department. He maintains a law practice, and holds a ThM from DTS and a PhD in theological education from Seminario Teológico Centroamericano. The majority of his ministry has focused on theological education in Spanish speaking countries, including extensive work in Cuba. Most recently, Michael presented a paper at the Evangelical Missiological Society Annual Meeting entitled, “Cuban Cultural Elements Shaping Theological Education Student Profiles.” Michael and his wife, Kathy, have been married over 30 years and have two adult children.

 

Alistair Begg has served as senior pastor for Parkside Church in Cleveland, Ohio, for more than 30 years. He is also the Bible teacher on Truth For Life, which airs on Moody Radio and is heard on the radio and online around the world. Begg studied at Trent University, the London School of Theology, and Westminster Seminary. Before moving to Ohio, he ministered at two churches in Scotland. Begg and his wife, Susan, have three children and five grandchildren.
