Visa Requirements
US Passport Holders
As of September 2025, US citizens may enter Thailand for tourism for up to 60 days without a visa. (The Thai government is considering reducing this to 30 days.)
To enter Thailand, you must have:
- A passport valid for at least six months beyond arrival
- A confirmed onward or return ticket
At least three days prior to arrival, complete the required digital arrival card:
tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home.
Non-US Citizens
Visit thaiembassy.org to locate the Thai Royal Embassy in your region and determine your visa requirements.
You must complete the digital arrival card at least three days before arrival:
