Presented by THE CENTER FOR COMPELLING BIBLICAL PREACHING:

When the unthinkable happens—whether in our nation, our community, or our own lives—how do we faithfully preach a gospel of hope?
When Your World Shatters: The Book of Job and Preaching for the Hour of Crisis invites pastors, ministry leaders, and aspiring preachers to explore what faithful proclamation looks like in moments of suffering and upheaval.
Through Scripture-grounded sessions and practical workshops, you’ll gain tools for preaching from the book of Job and communicating its theology of suffering. The day will include times of worship, three main sessions, and two breakout periods with nine in-depth workshops to choose from—you’ll select two that best fit your ministry context.
Learn how to guide others with wisdom and compassion when your life seems to rip apart at the seams—whether in your congregation, your community, or your own life.
Registration:
Registration includes all sessions and workshops. Boxed lunch available for purchase. Additional costs apply for the optional pre- and post-conference workshops.
