Dr. Michael Rydelnik is professor emeritus of Jewish Studies and Bible at Moody Bible Institute and host of Open Line on Moody Radio. The son of Holocaust survivors, he grew up in an observant Jewish home in Brooklyn before coming to faith in Jesus the Messiah as a teenager. Since then, he has devoted his life to teaching Scripture. Michael is the author of several books and co-editor of The Moody Bible Commentary.

Dr. Mark Yarbrough became the sixth president of Dallas Theological Seminary in 2020, where he also serves as professor of Bible Exposition. A frequent conference speaker and tour leader, he has authored several books, including How to Read the Bible Like a Seminary Professor and Jonah: Beyond the Tale of a Whale. Mark and his wife, Jennifer, his high school sweetheart, have been married over 30 years and live in Sunnyvale, Texas, with their four adult children and growing family.

Dr. Don Sweeting is a strong advocate for Israel and the Jewish people, speaking out against antisemitism and highlighting the ways God has used the Jews as a light to the nations. Recently, he met with Israel’s president, the Israeli and U.S. ambassadors, and the Israeli ambassador to the UN. He also traveled to Israel with a delegation of American university leaders. A Moody Bible Institute alumnus (and Alumnus of the Year in 2016) and recent president and chancellor of Colorado Christian University, he has co-authored several books with his father, the late Dr. George Sweeting, Moody’s sixth president.

For more than three decades, Karl Clauson has pursued life’s greatest adventure—following Jesus Christ. His mission is “to inspire a spiritual revolution in the church that reaches the world.” Karl and his wife, Junanne, spoke nationally at FamilyLife marriage conferences for 11 years, and he once led Alaska’s largest church, featured in The New York Times for its outreach. Today, he serves as host of Karl and Crew on Moody Radio’s WMBI 90.1 FM and the Moody Radio Network, and as lead pastor of 180 Chicago. Karl and Junanne have two adult children.

Dr. William Washington is vice president of Student Life and Enrollment at Moody Bible Institute. He previously served as vice president of student life at Bethel University and spent 28 years in student development at Trinity International University, concluding his tenure there as senior vice president. A veteran leader in Christian higher education, he is one of the few to have an endowed chair named in his honor at his alma mater, Trinity International University.
