After serving as a youth pastor for 15 years in two local churches in Chicago, Josh now serves as the Chicagoland-area coordinator for Sonlife Ministries. He also recently joined the staff at Moody Bible Institute as assistant professor in the Applied Theology and Church Ministries department, specifically focused on youth ministry. Josh received his education from Moody, first receiving a degree in Youth Ministry, followed by a degree in Ministry Leadership from Moody Theological Seminary. His passion is to see the church equipped to make disciples like Jesus. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife, Madeleine, and their three children.

Jay serves as the International Ministries Director for Sonlife, overseeing short-term missions partnerships and other international projects. He and his wife Stephanie have been married for 26 years and have 3 kids. Jay loves investing in teenagers and has a passion to see the next generation equipped for disciple-making, following the model of Jesus. He enjoys being outside whenever possible, and spends as much time hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and mountain biking as possible.

Developed out of an excitement to see God glorified, Polen Band travels from their home state of Ohio to conferences, coffee shops, churches, and community events all over the country, leading people in passionate and sincere worship through contemporary Christian music.
