Ministry Leader Cohorts

This year at Called, we are launching Called Ministry Leader Cohorts.

We want to invite committed women serving in ministry leadership, whether paid or volunteer, to embark with us on a yearlong journey of engagement and connection. Our threefold desire for these cohorts is:

  1. TO CARE: to enjoy the fellowship of like-minded leaders.
  2. TO SHARE: to learn and offer innovative ideas and helpful resources.
  3. TO PREPARE: to collaborate around complex topics within our ministries.

A cohort will include a group of 15–20 women's ministry leaders. Each cohort will meet monthly via Zoom to provide development and support for ministry in the local church. These calls will include space for connection with other leaders, collaboration around relevant topics, and prayer. These cohorts will begin just after Called and culminate with an in-person gathering at the following year’s Called conference. To join, interested leaders can fill out the application below, which will help us tailor cohort assignments.

What: Zoom calls as a group for 1.5 hours
When: Monthly
Who: Ministry to women leaders (paid or volunteer)
Why:

  1. Intentional Space for Dialogue: Many women’s ministry leaders are often isolated in their churches. Many exist as the only female ministry leaders on their staff, carrying the burden of spiritual mothering for many. While many pastors’ connection spaces exist, there are few spaces dedicated to the development and dialogue for women's ministry leaders. In addition, when complexity arises and discretion within our own ministries is necessary, it’s valuable to have outside voices to journey with!
  2. Share Ideas & Resources: Why reinvent the wheel! There are some phenomenal leaders, curriculum, and ideas out there that I imagine may serve many women well in their planning and development. Let’s resource one another.
  3. Support & Fellowship: Whether networking with other leaders or just a like-minded leader to call in the midst of crisis, these cohorts will invite space for prayer and support among women's ministry leaders.

If you are interested, please fill out the following application form and we will be in touch with you.
